The Impact of Nutrition on Motor Development & Control
Task: You will write a 5-page research paper that will discuss the connection of your chosen field to motor control, motor learning, and motor development. You will be required to see the writing center at least twice, work with another classmate, and submit portions of your paper at the designated check in points. Students will ONLY be allowed to use PEER REVIEWED journals/articles, and scholarly books-failure to do so will result in a 10% deduction. A minimum of 5 sources is required.
Components/Requirements of the paper:
A) Title/Cover Page
a. Contains the paper’s title, author’s name, course name, professor name, title of assignment, spring 2020, reference APA format for correct cover page
B) Abstract (150 words)
a. Provide a broad overview and theme of the paper
C) Introduction (1 paragraph)
a. This will state exactly what you are trying to learn and answer in the paper
D) Review of literature (1-1.5 pages)
a. The research process uncovers what other writers have written about your topic. Your education paper should include a discussion or review of what is known about the subject.
E) Main body of the paper (discussion and application) (2-2.5 pages)
a. This should be the longest part of the paper. This is where you discuss the literature review and make the connections to your chosen field for each of the categories. You will discuss how you will apply this material when you begin to work. You will discuss any interesting findings you had and pose any questions you may have. A clear focus, avoiding meaningless digressions, provides the essential unity that characterizes a strong education paper.
F) Conclusion (1-2 paragraphs)
a. After spending a great deal of time and energy introducing and arguing the points in the main body of the paper, the conclusion brings everything together and underscores what it all means. A stimulating and informative conclusion leaves the reader informed and well-satisfied. A conclusion that makes sense, when read independently from the rest of the paper, will win praise.
