You applied for a job with a Toy Manufacturing Company. When they call you for an initial interview, you are told that your interview will start with you pitching the idea of a mechanical toy to the hiring committee.

The toy must be purely mechanical (no electricity, magnets, etc.) and it must have at least one function. It must be safe for children of age 5 and above, and must be cost-effective. It goes without saying that it must be a toy that children will want to play with and parents will gladly buy it for their children.

Your pitch does not allow any technology use or visual displays.

Your pitch must be short, concise and able to convey to the hiring committee that the toy that you intend to design and build emphasizes a child’s creativity and learning new skills, while being safe and cost effective.
