Two Ways you can backup a windows 10 workstation

For this lab, you will need to write a short report (4-5 pages) presenting two (2) different backup and restore software applications that will work with Windows 10. Assume you are writing this report for your IT Manager in an IT job. Your manager has asked you to provide two possible solutions for the company to back up Windows 10 workstations (NOT virtual machines) so that if the workstations crash, you can quickly and easily recover the data, applications, and computer configuration on the effected machines. Selected products would ideally provide full backup, as well as incremental and/or differential backup methods. Provide details about the main features of each of your backup options and point out strengths and weakness of each. What are the costs? What are some others you didn’t write about and why (no more than one paragraph for all of these)? Based on your analysis, which product would you recommend? • Paper must be written using Microsoft Word
• You should use a 12-point font with single line spacing
• Margins should be 1 inch
• You should have a professional looking cover page (not part of the 4-5 page length requirement)
• Run spell check! You will lose points for misspellings and typos in your final product. Grammar and punctuation will also count.
• Include a reference page (citations/bibliography) showing where you obtained your information (web site address, interview, etc.) (not part of the 4-5 page length requirement)
• You may use any citation styles that you are comfortable with (APA, MLA, etc.) It must be clear where facts you use on each backup solution came from
• Only pages filed with content are counted toward the 4-5 page requirement. Pages less than 75% full are not a ‘page’. Your first ‘page’ should start at the top – no reason to start halfway down and put a lot of clutter at the top – that’s what the title/cover page is for.
