This semester, we experienced a radical disruption in the social fabric. These types of radical disruptions have been addressed in mythology for millennia. I doubt the current period will be any exception.

The Assignment:
Drawing from your experiences being quarantined during a pandemic, and what you’ve now learned about how and why humans tell stories, write a 6-8 page paper in which you explain how this pandemic will be communicated to future generations.

*You may take a more formal, academic essay approach to this assignment, or you can take a stab at creative writing. Either approach is acceptable. The only requirements are as follows: 1) the assignment be your own original work. 2) Your writing must be well edited. PLEASE PROOFREAD THOROUGHLY. Your papers should be easy for readers to understand. I want to be able to read for content and do not want to get bogged down/ distracted by sentences that haven’t been well edited. 3) Your paper should be 6-8 pages in length. 4) SOURCES. If you use ANY additional sources to help you write your paper, they should be cited in MLA format and you should include a bibliography. If you are inspired by sources, but do not include them directly in the document, please include a brief explanation at the end of the document that reveals to me your inspirations for this work.
