Writing a Personal Statement

Personal statement should highlight strengths, anything that is unique or impressive about you and allow the selection committee to see what details of your life help set you apart from other candidates. should use the opportunity to discuss any unusual obstacles or hardships that you have had to overcome and what personal characteristics (for example, integrity, compassion, and or persistence) you posses that would improve your prospects for success.
Some of his strengths are: intelligent, imagination, adaptation, quick learner. He’s curious about learning, he has physical strength, he is joyful and positive.
What makes him unique/impressive things about him: He very much enjoys hands on experience, for example put his knowledge to use and practice. He likes to make things, and has made from scratch: ice cream, all types of slime, sandstones, bubbles that glow, bouncy eggs, oobleck with baby powder, flexible bone (with a chicken bone and vinegar, fishing rod out of scratch, a spear to fish.
Hardships: death of his grand pa’s (dads side). When his parents separated & dad left the house.
Personal characteristics: Compassion, his heart breaks for the homeless, and feels it would suck to be homeless. Puts himself in others shoes. Wants to protect everyone and stand up for what is right. He’s persistent, he will try until he gets it right or passes the levels in games, or learns a sport, and when he’s into something, he wants to learn all the details, history, how things work, how he or anything make it better, etc.
